Frequently Asked Questions
Interested in discovering what holistic nutrition can do for you? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about working with a R.H.N.
+ What is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist?
Registered Holistic Nutritionists (R.H.N) are professionals who educate people about the health benefits of natural nutrition. Holistic nutrition is a combination of modern science and and time-tested wisdom based on the philosophy that each person has specific, individualized nutritional requirements. As a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, I am qualified to work with clients to help identify nutritional imbalances and correct them through individualized health plans, including diet and lifestyle recommendations and/or natural source supplements to help bring the body back into balance. My goal is to help empower you to achieve your individual health goals through education and information that is easy to understand and implement into your daily routine.
+ Are your services covered by insurance?
Holistic Nutrition services are covered by some insurance companies. Please check the copy of your benefits and/or confirm with your HR department that you are covered.
If you aren’t covered for Holistic Nutritional Consultants and you would like to be, you can contact your Human Resources department in writing and request for nutrition services to be added to your company’s extended insurance plan. If you do not have third party coverage, your receipts may be used as a tax deduction for medical expenses.
+ Do you provide receipts?
Yes, I can provide receipts.
+ Who can benefit from Holistic Nutrition?
Well, in a nutshell...everyone! With our busy lives today, people are more stressed than ever, eating more processed foods, exercising less and spending too much time indoors. Not only that, the rates of cancer, diabetes and obesity are rapidly increasing across North America.
More and more people are now starting to look for ways to prevent these kinds of diseases instead of just treating them with prescriptions.

So whether you’re a sugar-addict or gym-fiend, stressed out professional or overworked parent - everyone can benefit from becoming a little more mindful of their mind, body and soul.
